SUI daily close-line chart: the 1.2947 double top, the ten-session 0.9372-1.0438 box shaded grey, the 0.8306 count filled at today's 0.8277 low
Loading SUI candles…

SUI closed at 0.8935 after printing a 0.8277 low, 8.0% below the close and 0.0029 under the target the ten-session box had been pointing at since 13 October. That is the whole session in one line: the count filled, the market went through it, and the market bought it back. The 29 October candle that set it up closed at 0.8695, down 7.82% on 69.8M SUI — 1.67x the twenty-day average of 42.9M.

The box and the break

From 13 to 23 October SUI built a range: lid at 1.0431 on 15 October and 1.0438 on 20 October, floor at 0.9372 on 18 October and 0.9400 on 23 October. Ten sessions, 11.4% of height. The 21 October high at 1.0566 was the last lower high of a sequence that began at 1.2947 on 27 September and repeated at 1.2921 the next session — two tops, 101.0M SUI on the first and 174.5M on the second, the heaviest day of the window.

Then 29 October opened at 0.9433, ran to 0.9620 and broke down to 0.8590. A close at 0.8695 is a close under the floor, not a wick through it.

The count filled at the low

1.0438 minus 0.9372 is 0.1066. Projected from the floor that is 0.8306. Today's low printed 0.8277 — 0.0029 through it — and the session closed 0.0658 higher at 0.8935 on 30.6M SUI, a light 0.71x the average. A count that fills to the tick, gets undercut and is reclaimed inside one session, on shrinking volume, is the shape of a flush in which the sellers ran out of size at that price. It is not proof of a bottom; it is a reason to watch the shelf instead of shorting into it.

0.9379 is the whole argument

Run the fib over the decline from 1.2947 to 0.8277: the 0.236 is 0.9379. That is 7 ticks above the floor that broke at 0.9372, and the same strip holds the 0.9400 low from 23 October. One price, three reasons.

Above it the ladder is 1.0061 at the 0.382, then the 1.0438 lid, then 1.0612 at the 0.5. Below it: 0.8897, then today's 0.8277, then 0.8070 from 19 September and 0.7251 from 26 August.

The rail that decides it faster

The lower highs of October form a clean line: 1.0566 on 21 October to 0.9650 on 28 October, a fall of 0.0131 a session, with seven sessions under it and no high above. Extended, that rail reads 0.9388 for today and reaches the 0.9379 fib within one session.

That confluence is the point. The old floor and the descending ceiling arrive at the same price at the same time, and confluences like that resolve with a decision rather than a drift. It also means the level is testable this week, not next month.

How it resolves

Bear: rejection at 0.9379–0.9400, then a close back under 0.8897, the measured move that filled on 29 October and held as a close today. From there 0.8590 is the first shelf, a retest of 0.8277 the second, and a break of 0.8277 opens 0.8070 with 0.7251 behind it.

Bull: a daily close above 0.9379 converts the failed breakdown into a range reclaim. The first real objective is 1.0061 at the 0.382, the range lid at 1.0438 is the line that ends the October downtrend, and 1.0612 at the 0.5 is where the 27 September top starts to matter again.

The ladder

0.7251 → 0.8070 → 0.8277 → 0.8590 → 0.8897 → 0.9379 → 1.0061 → 1.0438 → 1.0612 → 1.2947.

Path of least resistance is still down — the sequence from 27 September has produced nothing but lower highs and the box broke on 1.67x volume — but only just: 55/45. The count filled and was reclaimed in the same session, and the recovery came on light volume, which says the sellers did not press. ATR(14) is 0.0571, 6.37% of spot, so both a retest of 0.9379 and a fresh undercut of 0.8277 fit inside a normal week.

A measured move that fills to the tick and gets bought back is a target, not a trapdoor.
