Kite's One-Year Cliff Lands Tomorrow: 1.11 Billion KITE Against 64 Days of Turnover — 0.1269 Decides 0.1594 or 0.1014
Kite's lockup ends tomorrow: 1.11 billion KITE turn transferable, 64 days of average turnover. The 0.1269 retrace decides what the unlock prices next.

The token built to let AI agents pay each other is about to find out what its own supply is worth. Kite's one-year lockup expires on 3 November, and roughly 1.11 billion KITE become transferable in a single tranche — 11.1% of the 10 billion total supply, landing in the same week the token turns one.
What actually unlocks tomorrow
Of the tranche, 500 million KITE belongs to the team and 300 million to investors: 800 million insider tokens that were untouchable until this week. At today's 0.1187 that is about $95 million becoming sellable at once.

Trackers do not agree on the size of the event, and the disagreement is worth stating plainly. Tokenomist marks 3 November as the next unlock; TokenPost's weekly schedule carries 670 million tokens, 27.9% of the circulating supply; CryptoTicker and TrustSwap put the tranche at 1.11 billion, between 43% and 46% of circulating supply depending on the tracker. What every version has in common is the shape — a cliff, not a drip, and the first one in the token's life.
The supply lands on the thinnest tape since listing
The KITE/USDT book on Binance has averaged $1.48 million of turnover a day across the last 30 sessions, against $2.16 million over 90 sessions and $11.86 million across the token's full 365-session history. The insider tranche alone equals 64 days of that recent average. The full 1.11 billion equals 89 days.

That is the arithmetic that turns a percentage into a problem: not how much supply exists, but how many sessions the market needs to absorb it at present participation. The last 24 hours did $2.05 million across 38,970 trades, with the price between 0.1180 and 0.1260.
What the market is being asked to price
Kite sells agent payment rails — stablecoin settlement, sub-cent fees, x402 compatibility — and raised $18 million in a Series A co-led by PayPal Ventures and General Catalyst in September 2025, $33 million in total. The thesis needs autonomous software to actually spend money.
The public meter for that is thin. The x402 standard's own dashboard showed $24.24 million of volume across every chain, vendor and agent over the trailing 30 days, in TrustSwap's reading of it — a quarter of the insider tranche alone. Market capitalisation stands at $213 million and rank 170 on Coinpaprika, with a fully diluted value near $1.19 billion at 0.1187.
The levels that decide it
KITE peaked at 0.3233 on 6 March and trades 63.3% below it. September set the outer range — a 0.1594 high on 27 September and a 0.0971 low on 16 September — and October set the operative one: a 0.1426 high on 14 October, on 2.46x average volume, down to 0.1014 on 30 October.
Retracing that 0.1426-to-0.1014 leg puts the 0.382 at 0.1171, the 0.5 at 0.1220 and the 0.618 at 0.1269. Sunday's 7.96% rebound closed 0.1234 after a 0.1260 high — a high that stopped 0.0009, under 0.7%, beneath the 0.618. Today the price sits at 0.1187, 0.0016 above the 0.382 and 20.3% below the 2 October close.
That is the map for the unlock. Reclaim 0.1269 and the 0.786 at 0.1338 opens the 0.1594 September high as the next shelf. Lose 0.1171 and the ladder below reads 0.1111, then the 0.1014 October low, with 0.0971 as the invalidation of the whole three-week base.
What to watch in the first 24 hours
Half of KITE's 365 sessions have closed above 0.126 — 180 of them — but the last one to do it was 13 October. A tranche that lands and holds that line is a different market from one that lands straight into the 0.1014 shelf.
The settle is unglamorous: whether unlocked tokens go to staking and validator bonds instead of the book, whether $1.5 million of daily turnover picks up at all, and whether the four remaining years of vesting into 2030 get priced as a calendar or as a wall. Every later tranche will ask the same question this one does, and the answer will be readable in the volume rather than in the announcements.
