ADA daily structure map, 20 sessions: the 25.2% downleg from 0.2824 to the 0.2111 sweep eight ticks above the 0.5, with the 0.2273-0.2279 confluence capping seven closes
Loading ADA candles…

On 16 October this column set 0.2273 as the line that decides 0.2484 or 0.2103. Seven sessions later the market has voted: seven closes below it, none above, and a low of 0.2111 that stopped eight ticks above the 0.5. The count went the bear's way; the target did not get paid.

The downleg from the 6 October high of 0.2824 to the 18 October low of 0.2111 is 0.0713, or 25.2%, in twelve sessions. That low sits 0.00080 above the 0.5 retracement of the entire 0.1382-to-0.2824 advance — eight ticks from handing back half of a 104.3% rally.

Seven Closes, Zero Above

From 16 October through today every close has landed under the confluence: 0.2257, 0.2196, 0.2212, 0.2181, 0.2240, 0.2252 and 0.2179. Only two highs got above it in that stretch — 0.2336 on 16 October and 0.2305 on 21 October — and neither closed there. The last close above 0.2273 was 0.2301 on 15 October.

The Confluence Is Six Ticks Wide

Two measurements land on each other. The 0.382 of the 0.1382-0.2824 advance is 0.22732; the 0.236 of the 0.2824-0.2111 downleg is 0.22793. Six ticks apart, and the market has spent seven sessions failing to close inside that 0.00061 gap. That is the cleanest kind of level: an accident of arithmetic that price keeps respecting.

A 0.0194 Base Over Four Sessions

Between 18 and 21 October the whole range was 0.2111 to 0.2305 — 0.0194, or 1.5x the 14-day ATR of 0.0130. Four sessions of that width after a 25% fall is a pause, not a reversal: the floor has been visited at 0.2111 and 0.2147, the lid at 0.2267 and 0.2305, and neither side has closed an argument.

What 0.2383 Requires

A close above 0.2279 first, then the 0.2305 lid, then the 0.382 of the downleg at 0.23834 — a level with no print on it since 14 October, when the session high was 0.2391. Above that, the base's own 0.0194 measured move projects 0.2499, which lands just under the 0.236 of the big advance at 0.24837. Two independent counts pointing into the same 15-tick band is what a real target looks like.

What 0.2111 Costs

A close under 0.2111 breaks the base and projects 0.19170, which is 0.0194 below the floor. The 0.618 of the advance sits at 0.19328 and the August-September floor at 0.1894 and 0.1903, so the measured move lands in a zone the market has already visited twice. That is a 194-tick journey with two prior buyers in it, not a vacuum — and 0.19328 is the last shelf before the drop starts pricing a full round trip.

Thin Tape Into the Decision

Volume has collapsed with the range. Today is running at 0.19x the twenty-day average pace of 143.3 million; the 17 and 19 October sessions were the two lightest closes of the correction at 54.7 and 52.0 million ADA, 0.33x their own trailing averages. Today's range of 0.0094 is 62% of the twenty-day average range of 0.0151, and ATR(14) at 0.0130 is 5.94% of spot. Price sits under both the 20-day mean at 0.23774 and the 50-day at 0.23137, so the trend is still down while the tape dries up — the shape that usually precedes a level deciding rather than a slow drift.

Seven closes have voted against the 0.382 and the sweep stopped eight ticks above the 0.5. Neither side has been paid: 0.2279 is the ballot.

The three numbers for the next session are 0.2111, 0.2273 and 0.2305. Above 0.2305 the 0.2383 rung and the 0.2499 count come into play; below 0.2111 the measured move points at 0.1917.
