LTC Daily Analysis — Higher Low Holds the Bull Flag: 50.9 Decides 55.45 or 45.97
LTC 1d: the $55.45 breakout corrected to the 0.5 fib and printed a higher low at $47.41. A close above $50.9 reopens $55.45; below $47.41 targets $45.97.

The Setup
Litecoin bottomed at $43.39 on Aug 14 and rode the Aug 21-22 risk-on melt-up to $55.45 — a +28% impulse in six sessions, the strongest leg since May. Since then it has done what healthy uptrends do after a violent move: pulled back. The correction tagged the 0.618 retracement twice — Aug 28's low at exactly $48.00, then Aug 30's wick to $47.41 — before closing the week back above the midpoint.
The structure to watch is the higher low: $47.41 sits comfortably above the $43.39 base, and the last three closes ($48.55, $49.57, $49.54) have crawled back above the 0.5 fib at $49.42. That is a bull-flag shape on the daily — the question is whether the flag flies or breaks.

The Levels
Overhead, the immediate hurdle is the $50.5-50.9 band — the 0.382 retracement at $50.84 sits inside it, and every pullback high since Aug 26 (50.92, 50.53, 50.49) stalled there. Above that, $55.45 is the breakout high, and beyond it the only overhead reference on the chart is the May high at $60.61. A flag measured move from the higher low ($47.41 + $12.06 pole) projects to roughly $59.5 — converging with that May level.
Underneath, the pivot is $49.42 (0.5 fib), then the $48.00 shelf (0.618, two touches), then $47.41 — the higher low that keeps the bull case alive. A daily close below $47.41 opens the $45.97 deep retracement (0.786), which lines up with the late-July shelf at $45.75, and below that the $43.39 base returns as the final support.

Scenarios
BULL (flag continuation): price holds $49.4, breaks the $50.5-50.9 band on a daily close, and the flag flies toward $55.45 first. Expect a pause at $52-53 — that is where the Aug 23-24 congestion sits — before the final push. The measured target beyond $55.45 is the $59-60.6 zone. The path will not be linear: a retest of $49.5-50 as support after the breakout is normal.
BEAR (failed breakout): rejection at $50.5-50.9, a close back under $49.42, then the $48.00-47.41 zone gets tested again. The third touch of a support level is the dangerous one — if $47.41 fails on a daily close, the correction deepens to $45.97 and the bull-flag shape is void. Bounces along the way are sellable until $49.4 is reclaimed.
Probabilities: mildly bullish while $47.41 holds — the higher low, the double tap of the 0.618 and the recovery above the 0.5 fib are all the anatomy of a pullback, not a reversal. Roughly 55/45 toward the continuation, but nothing happens until $50.9 gives way. Invalidation: BULL dies on a daily close below $47.41; BEAR dies on a daily close above $50.9.
I have seen a thousand corrections that look exactly like this — the two taps of the 0.618 on Aug 28 and Aug 30 shook out the weak hands, and the closes back above 49.4 tell me the midpoint is being defended. But a flag only counts when it breaks: give me 50.9 taken out on a daily close and I will trust the move to 55.
Bottom Line
LTC's August breakout is in a textbook pullback: higher low at $47.41, double tap of the 0.618, and two closes back above the 0.5 fib at $49.42. The path of least resistance is up while the higher low holds, with the $50.5-50.9 band as the trigger — a daily close above it reopens $55.45 and sets up the measured $59-60.6 zone. Below $47.41, the setup fails and $45.97 becomes the target. Until one of those closes happens, expect chop between $48 and $51.
