BNB Daily Analysis — Breakout Retest at $745.7: The S/R Flip Decides 800 or the August Range
BNB broke its summer double top with a 780.64 spike and now retests the 745.7 breakout level. A hold opens 769-800; a close below sends it back to 726-680.

The Breakout That Already Happened
Let's be precise about where BNB stands, because the pattern most people are still watching already played out. The double top that capped BNB through late August — peaks at 726.1 on August 22 and 719.99 on August 25 — was a bear trap, not a reversal. September 1 swept 674.60 under the 680 neckline and snapped back the same session, and Friday the market did the rest: a 7.8% surge to a session high of 780.64, closing at 766.53, clear of the May 31 swing high at 745.7 that had resisted every rally for three months.
The breakout even delivered the textbook measured move. Height of the August pattern — roughly 726 minus 680 — projected from the neckline points at the 770-785 zone, and Friday tagged 780.64 right inside it. BNB is not asking whether it can break out anymore. It broke out. The question now is whether the old ceiling holds as the new floor.

The Retest: 745.7 as Support
Since Friday's close the market has pulled back in an orderly way — no panic, no volume spike on the way down. Saturday closed at 753 after tagging 769; this morning's session has already tested 744.89, essentially on top of the 745.7 breakout level, and is trading right at the line.
That is the classic first retest of a broken level, and it matters more than the breakout itself. When a three-month resistance flips to support, the first touch from above is where the market decides whether the move was real: a hold sets up the next leg, a daily close back below opens the door to the August range. The retest is happening right now, live on the chart.

The Two Doors
BULL: support at 745.7 holds and price reclaims 753-756. The ladder up is 769 (Saturday's high), then 780.64 (Friday's spike) — and above that the measured zone extends. The rally leg from the 674.6 bear-trap low to 780.64 is 106 points; a continuation pattern measured from the breakout area points toward the 817-835 zone, with 800 as the psychological marker in between. Expect stair-steps, not a straight line: green, red, green, with pullbacks toward 745-756 along the way.
BEAR: the first retest fails. A daily close below 745.7 rolls BNB back to 740 (0.382), then 726.1 — the August 22 peak, now support — then the 719.99/708.88 shelf and finally the 680-674.6 zone where the whole move started. That path is not a crash; it is a round trip through levels that already traded. The structure only fully dies on a daily close below 674.6.
Probabilities
Modestly bullish — roughly 60% continuation versus 40% failed retest. The bull case is concrete: the breakout ran on expanding volume, the retest is holding above the 0.382 retracement (740.1) so far, and first retests of freshly broken multi-month levels hold more often than they fail.
The honest caveats: Friday's volume, while the strongest of the week, was not a blow-off climax — 0.3M contracts against the summer's quiet 0.1-0.2M norm — so there is room for a deeper shakeout. And BNB remains extended after the vertical move; a sweep under 745.7 toward 740 that closes back above would actually be a healthier setup than a straight hold.
The first retest of a broken three-month ceiling is where a breakout earns its keep. Hold 745.7 and the market is telling you the old resistance now belongs to the bulls.
Bottom Line
BNB is mid-retest at the exact level it broke on Friday: 745.7, the May 31 high, now the line between continuation and round trip. Hold it and the path opens to 769, 780.64 and the 800-835 measured zone. Lose it on a daily close and the August range — 726, 720, 708, 680 — is back in play. The trigger is simple: watch the daily close relative to 745.7 over the next two sessions.
