TRX Daily Analysis — Five Closes Under the 0.3323 Half-Retrace and a 2.06x Candle Reclaim: The 0.3365 Gate Decides 0.3493 or 0.3146

TRX lost the 0.3323 half-retrace for five closes, swept the 0.618 to 0.3270, then reclaimed the shelf on a 2.06x candle: 0.3365 decides 0.3493 or 0.3146.

Loading TRX candles…

TRX closed at 0.3344 on 16 October — its strongest close since 7 October — after a week in which the 0.3323 half-retrace gave way for five consecutive sessions, the 0.618 was swept twice, and the tape printed its heaviest candle in almost four weeks to take the shelf back.

The sequence is the story. From 9 to 13 October the close fell 0.3319, 0.3308, 0.3302, 0.3291 and 0.3274 — five sessions under the 0.3323 line, the deepest of them 0.0049 below it. Then 14 October opened at 0.3273, wicked to 0.3272 and reversed to 0.3325 on 163.86 million TRX: 2.06x the twenty-day average of 79.54 million, the heaviest candle since 22 September, and the fifth-heaviest of the whole 120-session window.

The Most-Tested Line in the Structure

0.3323 is not an arbitrary number. It is the 50% retracement of the leg that runs from the 1 July low at 0.3144 to the 22 August high at 0.3502. It is also the line that has done the most work in this window: fourteen daily lows have printed between 0.3315 and 0.3330 since 14 August, and both of the lows that framed the twin-top neckline — 27 September and 1 October — printed exactly 0.3324.

A line that has caught fourteen lows is a line with a memory, and that is why five closes under it produced no slide. The sellers who took 0.3323 out had to absorb the same bids that defended it in August and September, in a market with no volume to lean on: 49.06 million and 49.95 million on 10 and 11 October, 0.62x and 0.63x the twenty-day average.

Two Wicks Into the 0.618, One Close Under It

Below the shelf sits the 0.618 at 0.32808. The 13 October session wicked to 0.3270 — 0.0011 through it — and closed at 0.3274, the only close of the sequence that got under the golden ratio. The next session wicked to 0.3272 and closed back above both lines. Two consecutive wicks into the same 0.3270-0.3272 pocket with no second close below 0.3281 is the shape of a liquidity sweep, not a breakdown.

The reclaim, though, is a grind rather than a thrust. The 14 October close landed 0.0002 above the shelf; 15 October closed 0.0003 above it; today's 0.3344 is 0.0021 above. Volume has collapsed with it — 117.81 million on 15 October and 32.85 million so far today, a 0.41x pace. The heaviest candle of the week bought the line; the two sessions since have not paid up to extend it.

The heaviest candle of the week took the shelf back on 2.06x volume. The next two sessions did not pay up to hold it — that is a reclaim to be retested, not celebrated.

The Wide Twin Top Above

0.3502 on 22 August — on 198.65 million TRX, the heaviest candle of the window — and 0.3493 on 22 September — on 165.84 million — sit 0.0009 apart, 31 sessions apart. That is a wide double top rather than a textbook one: 12 September printed 0.3442 between the peaks, so the honest description is a 5.3%-tall rectangle whose ceiling has been rejected twice by the two heaviest candles of the last two months.

The neckline arithmetic is unchanged. The lows between the peaks — 0.3324 on 27 September and 0.3324 again on 1 October — put the measured move at 0.3502 minus 0.3324, or 0.0178, which projects 0.3146. That lands two ticks from the window low of 0.3144 printed on 1 July. It is the bear side's entire case — and the five closes that sat under the neckline between 9 and 13 October have all been reclaimed, the deepest of them (0.3274) still 128 ticks above the count's destination.

Walking the Ladder From Here

The rungs of the 0.3144 to 0.3502 leg sit at 0.3418 (0.236), 0.3365 (0.382), 0.3323 (0.5), 0.3281 (0.618) and 0.3221 (0.786). Price is parked on the middle rung at 0.3344, with the 0.382 gate 0.0021 above and the 0.618 sand 0.0063 below.

Above the gate the ladder is bare until the 30 September high at 0.3409, then the 12 September high at 0.3442, and finally the twin-top lid. Below, the route runs through 0.3281 to the 13 October sweep low at 0.3270 and then to 0.3221 — four ticks above the 0.3217 floor that both 17 July and 2 September printed.

The twenty-day mean at 0.3335 sits 0.24% under the close; the fifty-day mean at 0.3355 sits 0.35% above it. With ATR(14) at 0.0031 — 0.93% of spot — the honest expectation is that neither the twin top nor the 0.3146 count is settled this week.

What the 0.3365 Gate Decides

The path of least resistance is mildly higher while the shelf holds. A close over 0.3365 is the first real crack: it puts the 30 September high at 0.3409 in play, and a follow-through over 0.3442 makes the twin-top lid the target — where the odds of a third rejection are high, because the two candles that built that lid are still the two heaviest prints of the last two months. A settlement over the lid at 0.3502 would carry the rectangle's own 0.0178 height to 0.3680, but that is a story for November.

The bear case needs a close under 0.3281 to be taken seriously, and 0.3146 remains the count. Without that close, the three rising lows since the sweep — 0.3272, 0.3295 and 0.3325 — argue that the 13 October sweep already did the damage it needed to do.

Invalidation is clean on both sides. A daily close under 0.3281 cancels the reclaim and hands the tape to the 0.3146 count; a daily close over 0.3365 cancels the lower-high sequence that has capped this market since 30 September. On balance — fourteen shelf lows, two swept wicks and a 2.06x-volume reclaim against a fading volume pace and an unbroken 0.382 gate — the edge is close to a coin flip with a slight upward tilt: 55/45 to the bulls while 0.3323 holds on a closing basis.
