LINK Daily Analysis — The 3.722 Blow-Off Vertical Is 99% Given Back at 12.091: The 12.852 Reclaim Decides 13.477 or 11.175
LINK gave back 99% of its 3.722 blow-off vertical, printing 12.091, and closed 0.15 under the 0.786. The 12.852 reclaim decides 13.477 or the 11.175 count.

LINK is trading at 12.8980 in the opening hours of the 9 October session, 18.2% under the 15.777 blow-off high of 29 September and 15.4% above the 11.175 count this structure projects. Today's range is 0.2610, 2.02% of spot, on 415,806 LINK in the first 7.1 hours — a pace of about 0.42x a normal full session against the 20-day average of 3,355,240. The line that matters is 12.852, the 0.786 retracement of the 12.055-15.777 advance. The 8 October session closed 0.1450 under it; today's session is holding back above it.
Two Sessions to Make the High, Ten to Give It Back
The top was not a drift. The 28 September candle opened 14.024, printed 15.534 and closed 15.452 on 8,631,655 LINK, 3.03x its trailing twenty-session average — the heaviest print of the window — with a low of 13.476. The next session opened 15.451, printed 15.777 and closed 14.607, 1.1700 under its own high on 5,495,212 LINK, the largest upper wick in the window. From there the sequence stepped down: 14.814, 14.560, 14.652, 14.197, 14.326, 14.281, 14.124, 14.037, 13.374 — eight lower highs in ten sessions, on volume that faded from 4.1 million to 970,078 by 4 October. The 8 October session ended the argument: opened 13.326, printed 13.374 and then 12.091, closing 12.707 on 3,063,236 LINK, 0.91x the 20-day average but the heaviest tape since 2 October.

99% Back, and a Count That Was Never a Guess
The vertical from the 23 September low of 12.055 to the 29 September high of 15.777 is 3.7220 tall, and the 8 October low of 12.091 has handed back 3.6860 of it — 99.0%. The low stopped 0.0360 above the print that started the move, which is the kind of precision that makes the next measurement worth taking seriously. The distribution's count is 15.777 minus the 13.476 base of the spike candle: 2.3010, projecting 11.175, and 1.3850 of it — 60.2% — is already filled. Under the count sits the 0.5 retracement of the entire advance from the 25 June low of 7.01, at 11.394, with the 18 September low of 11.342 inside 0.0515 of it. Two measurements, one 11.175-11.394 pocket.
The Line Between a Sweep and a Breakdown
Everything now turns on 12.852, the 0.786 of the impulse leg. The 8 October session closed 0.1450 under it, and today's session has traded back above — which is the test our 4 October note described from the other side, when the 13.477 line was the decision and price closed 0.801 over it. The difference matters: a market that reclaims the 0.786 within a session of losing it has swept the level, while a market that closes back under it has only paused. The level above is 13.477, and it is unusually well built — the 0.618 of the leg lands at 13.4768 and the 28 September candle's low was 13.476, 0.0008 apart.

What Each Side Needs
The bull case needs a daily close above 13.477 to turn the 0.618 back into support. That opens 14.326 — the 4 October high — and the falling rail anchored at 14.652, and a close above the rail would put 15.534 and 15.777 back in play. The tape is the problem: the 28 September candle that built this top traded 8,631,655 LINK, 3.03x the average, and no session since has been above 1.24x. A recovery needs volume that has not appeared yet. This path dies on a daily close under 12.091.
The bear case has the count and the tape behind it. Under 12.091 the 23 September low at 12.055 is a formality, and the 2.3010 count at 11.175 sits inside the 0.5 retracement pocket at 11.394 that already contains the 18 September low at 11.342. Three levels inside 0.22 is a shelf, not a coincidence. The bear case cancels on a daily close back above 13.477, because that is the retracement the 8 October break took out.
Two sessions to make the high, ten to give all of it back. The 8 October low stopped 0.0360 above the 23 September print the whole vertical started from — and the count below it was never about a guess.
