DOGE Daily Analysis — Ten Lower Highs Over a Nine-Session 0.0903 Base That Cracked: The 0.08768 Half-Retrace Decides 0.09198 or 0.08338
Ten lower highs in thirteen sessions over a nine-session 0.0903 base that gave way on 1.20x tape. The 0.08768 half-retrace decides 0.09198 or 0.08338 next.

Dogecoin is trading at 0.08758 in the opening hours of the 8 October session, 17.3% under the 0.10589 top of 22 September and 5.0% above the 0.618 retracement of the 0.06947-0.10589 advance. Today's range is 0.00453, 5.17% of spot, on 378,376,805 DOGE in the first seven hours — a pace of about 1.20x a normal full session against the 20-day average of 1,059,373,991. The line that matters is 0.08768: the 0.5 retracement of the August-September advance, and one tick from the exact 100% retracement of the 21 September impulse — the session whose low was 0.08722. The close is 0.00010 under it.
Ten Lower Highs in Thirteen Sessions
The ceiling has been stepping down since the top. The swing highs printed 0.09984 on 25 September, 0.09819 on 30 September, 0.09796 on 2 October and 0.09760 on 4 October — four clean peaks, each under the last — and ten of the thirteen sessions from 25 September to 7 October printed a lower high than the session before them. What makes the sequence honest rather than cosmetic is the volume under it: the 21 September candle traded 2,743,282,312 DOGE, the heaviest print of the entire 120-day window, and the 22 September candle 2,247,772,946. The top was distributed on real tape, and every retest since has been a lower retest, not a failed attempt at 0.10589.

A Nine-Session Base That Every Session Defended — Until 7 October
Under that ceiling the base was doing the opposite of falling apart. From 28 September to 6 October, nine consecutive sessions, the lows printed 0.09153, 0.09178, 0.09287, 0.09350, 0.09031, 0.09243, 0.09252, 0.09379 and 0.09322 — every one of them above 0.0900, and every close inside a 0.0928-0.0959 band. The 2 October session even did both jobs in one range: it swept 0.09031 and printed 0.09796, 0.00765 of travel in a single candle. Nine sessions of a 3.6% band is normally a market being absorbed. On 7 October it answered the other way: the session opened 0.09369, printed 0.0939 and closed 0.08904, having traded to 0.08781 on 1,275,056,620 DOGE — 1.20x the 20-day average of 1,059,373,991 and the heaviest tape since 23 September. One session took out nine sessions of lows.
The Half-Retrace Is the Whole Story
There is one reason to treat 0.08768 as a decision rather than a level: two measurements land on it. The advance from the 17 August low of 0.06947 to the 22 September high of 0.10589 is 0.03642 tall, and its 0.5 is 0.08768. The 21 September candle opened 0.08730 and printed a low of 0.08722 — the exact 100% retracement of that day's vertical, 0.00046 from the 0.5. A market that gives back an impulse candle in full and stops at the half of the bigger leg is retracing; a market that closes through both is being sold. Today's session printed 0.08518, 0.0025 through the pair, and the close of 0.08758 is 0.00010 under the line — the recovery off the low is real, but it has not reclaimed anything yet.

What Each Side Needs
The bull case needs one close above 0.08768 and then has to keep moving, because the base is now overhead supply. The broken floor at 0.09031 is the first ceiling, 0.09198 — the 0.382 of the advance — is the second, then the base's own closes at 0.09379-0.09591 and the 6 October high at 0.09639. A close above 0.09639 puts the falling rail back in play and reopens 0.09984. This path dies on a daily close under today's low of 0.08518.
The bear case is arithmetic. Under 0.08518 the 0.618 at 0.08338 is the first shelf, and the distribution's own count sits just beneath it: 0.09984 minus the 0.09031 floor is 0.00953, and subtracted from the floor it projects 0.08078 — inside 0.00060 of the 18 September low at 0.08138, so the arithmetic and the structure agree on one pocket. Below that the 0.786 of the advance waits at 0.07726. The bear case cancels on a daily close back above 0.08768, because that is the half-retracement this session took.
The 21 September candle traded 2.743 billion DOGE and closed 0.09986. Seventeen sessions later the market has handed the whole vertical back and is trading under the base it built on the way down.
